Club Q to Host ‘One Year Remembrance’ Ceremony

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO — October 16, 2023 — It is hard to believe it has been nearly one year since the horrific hate attack that took place at Club Q. With Jeff and Sabrina Aston, the parents of our fallen Club Q bartender Daniel Aston, we will be hosting a public remembrance ceremony outside of the club on November 19th, 2023 at noon. We look forward to having Governor Jared Polis join us in solidarity, as well as Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade. Other prominent leaders, survivors, and families of our fallen victims will come together to stand as one community as we remember those we’ve lost.

As we anticipate a chilly afternoon ceremony, there will be a selection of hot beverages available. There will be a large tent for coverage and a limited number of seats available. Although the event programming is still developing, we anticipate releasing more information over the coming weeks. We hope you will join us for this solemn occasion. Together we will stand unified in remembrance.
