To everyone who has supported Club Q either financially or with your heartfelt support, we thank you tremendously and from the bottom of our heart. To the various organizations that have directly supported the victims from this horrific crime, we appreciate you very much. In particular, we want to thank the following organizations: VictimsFirst, Colorado Gives, Colorado Healing Fund, UCPPE, Bread and Roses, GoFundMe and Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance. To the Club Q producers who have put tireless effort into organizing fundraisers, we are appreciative of you.

It has now been a month since the horrific hate attack at Club Q occurred. Since then, Club Q has been very busy mourning, grieving, planning and fighting for the future. We continue to work hard to honor the five lives we lost: Derrick Rump, Daniel Aston, Kelly Loving, Ashley Paugh and Raymond Green Vance. We will miss you for a lifetime to come, but we recognize we must act now to ensure each of your individual legacies will live on and your lives were not taken in vain. We love you now and forever.

Throughout this rebuilding process, we want to keep everyone informed with what is going on behind the scenes. Firstly, we want to assure you that Club Q will remain. Now in our 21st year of operation, it is very important that each day that made up those 21 years is not overshadowed by the five minutes of deadly hatred that took so much from us. There is a story to be told in a tragedy such as this, but there is a much more powerful story to be told in overcoming tragedy. We want our community, our state, and the world to know: we will overcome, we will become whole again, and we will continue to shine brightly and proudly once again.

We are very excited to announce that on Friday, December 16th, 2022, we began planning what the future of Club Q will look like by meeting with architects, designers, security experts and non-profits. We are grateful for the amount of donated time and energy being directed towards the re-opening of Club Q and we are very excited for what the future may hold.

We have received many questions regarding what the future will be, and where it might be located. Club Q will remain at 3430 N Academy Blvd. When Club Q is re-opened, our community will be greeted by a brand new space and a permanent memorial to honor the five lives we lost, the victims of the attack and our community as a whole. The Club will feature new aesthetics, strengthened security measures, new layouts and new designs. This will usher Club Q into the next chapter, one we hope will be its greatest yet. Again, we want to thank everyone for your support. Love will win.

-Club Q
